CHARISMATIC CHURCHES OF INDIA

With a vision of to ‘Reach the Unreached’, we took the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, far and wide, through Home Cells, Street Corner Preaching, Gospel Carol Rounds, Christmas Programs, Music-nights, Retreats, Seminars, Conferences, Gospel Crusades, Magazines and through the media for the past Four decades.

We reached out to the masses also through social activities such as free eye camps, medical camps, supporting orphanages, old age homes, helping the poor and needy and undertaking relief activities. Through these we were able to share the love of Christ to the lost souls and win them back to God. As days went on, we all did witness the tough times, persecutions and hardships that were carried out against the Churches and its people which left an incurable wound in our hearts. Though these are deemed to happen for the fulfillment of the words of the Bible, it is really hard and difficult to face and endure it, that too as an individual. Thus in order to continue our work without fear and to be a voice for the people of God, who are persecuted and oppressed, and to continue our social presence as a recognized body in the country, the Diocese of Charismatic Churches of India was formulated by The Most Rev. Dr. Reinhard C. Shekar, who in turn was ordained as its Bishop and later elevated as the Archbishop.
